Our Mechanic’s Thoughts on Minis
The Mini has an interesting history, with the company’s purchase by BMW in 2000. A new generation engine, released in 2006, brought new attention to the lineup. There were some issues back then, including suspension and the cooling system, but these are manageable. Thankfully, the Mini has become a much more reliable car since 2014. Whether it is a Clubman, Hatchback, Countryman or Roadster, a Mini is one fun car.
